College Soccer Scholarships
Standard U.S. Soccer College?
Im from Australia and I have the possibility to offer a football scholarship in the United States. Thing im worried about more there and be a disappointment to see how the coaches will offer scholarships based solely on video footage and recommentdations. I feel that I am a good player in local Australian leagues but I do not know what to expect in college football. Does anyone know about the standard Australian rates compared to the usa? or better yet have no actual been through a football scholarship in the united states of Australia or know someone who is?
Oregon State has some Aussies, see link below. We get A League here on TV and compared to the MLS. College football in the United States vary widely. Please note that the scholarship may not be paying all the bills. I will seek a team and check their website to see who is coming back, the video team, location, and academics. If you have professional aspirations would not hurt to be close MLS or USL team.
