I play defense for the game that I really love and just want some exercise / tips for my postition play .... I have next week free trial and really want to make the university this year ... So every technique, exercises to practice, and tips will be appriciated ... thank love
The practice of scrambling (to force the ball carrier in the direction you want them to go). If you have been playing defense, you should know how to do this. You must also train your mirroring capabilities. Take a friend. Starting on the arms distance apart, and they move around an area of about 15x15 feet, facing you every time. You must follow their movements and try to keep the same arm all the time. Also 1 you workout on 1 skill. Set up an area about 15 feet long and 10 meters wide. You and your friends each starts at one end of the rectangle. Since you want to practice your defense, you start with the ball. You pass the crackers to others and immediately close the space. Your partner is the goal make it on the other side with the dribble. Your goal is to stop them by either taking possession of the ball or get the ball out of bounds.
