Westfields Sports High has a reputation for producing some great stars of sports, in particular; Harry Kewell, Brett Emerton, Danny Vukovic and Mark Bridge to name a few.

So what's it really want to go to school with a bad reputation? Let us have seen a typical week in school and life Brendan football.

That was 14 years old committed! Now you know his schedule. We asked Brendan and his parents a few questions to get into the mind of a professional football player in the future and her parents.

How important is education for you Brendan? Because I get older I now know that education is very important. It would be great to play football at the highest level and get paid lots of money but now I understand that I must try to balance my school work with my football commitments.

Mum & Dad? As far as that my wife Karen and I am concerned about education should head the sport. I can tell you that when Brendan accepted call atough Westfield Sports' football program under ball. Brendan education is always with the Catholic education system. Karen and I support Brendan's decision to attend on condition that the school will not suffer (so that he destroyed theory that reached Dux last year) that allows him to continue his secondary education at Westfield Sports to follow his true path dreamand passionthroughthe become soccer players elite soccer. After playing Rugby League itself at the level I can empathize with elitehigh Brendan'sgoals and saw him go from being a follower of sheep under the ratings (laughs) to develop the 5's throughthe with a lot of hard work and, most ofall selectedin development paths available, I for one could see the passion in his eyes. He may notbe as buthis most flamboyant as, application of commitment, dedication, work ethic, and brains in the paddock is second to none.

The best part of going to school Socceroo Harry Kewell and many attended feels really good to know that people like Kewell, Emmerton and many others in a variety of different sportshavebeen to school that I was in and? Withers fulfilled their dream of many hard work.I hope to do the same.

Brendan's father Fred is a Retired Police The officer and his mother Karen must be a mother, the busiest super most organized. Brendan has a brother Luke, aged 11 and a sister Emma aged 7, are all sports nuts!

As a parent, obviously you drive him to all the above, how many / effort required is no doubt it is very difficult and without Karenit certainly will -? almost not possible. Karen and I have to communicate daily to coordinate logistics who is taking whom and what time he should be somewhere! We as parents really committed to our activities whetherit's children at the highest level or not. Combining education with developing intelligent athlete.

What Brendan final ambitions (s)? I hope to make it overseas as a professional footballer and play with some of the best players. I also want to achieve academic results good just in case I did not make and I will have something to fall back. I want to continue to train hard and work on my weaknesses and my dream mightachieve somedaymaybeI.

Favorite player? Favorite team? Favorite food? Favorite TV show? playerthat my favorite football because I love to watch my position should John Terry or Rio Ferdinand. But Ialso enjoy watching Cristiano Ronaldo's explosiveness and uses quick feet to beat the opponent. My favorite team is the favorite food of Manchester United. My is a chicken schnitzel. My favorite TV show is the Simpson's.

Brendan also went to China with Westfields Sports High School as part of education about other cultures and of course to play football.
