5 year old soccer - where can a grammy find the bare necessities to understand the games.?
I just want to help her learn the basics for myself at home (she practices once a week) and to better understand the games I attend: what the penalties are, the positions kids play, what size ball tiny kids use, regulation size net... any kiddy coaches or parents out there?
The best book for beginners to the game is the book called "Way to Play Soccer". I have coached soccer for 12 years (5 year olds through teens) and this is by far the best book. The rules are illustrated and easy to understand. You can get this book at any national book chain or through Amazon. I have bought several from half.com. the specific info is:
