Soccer Fitness Training
Any reason why I struggled with fitness football?
Hi, Im for 20 years and will start pre-season for football in recent weeks, I have last month training in the gym training hard to do and I have been doing a lot of walking on the tracks. I have been doing the type mainly interval running / sprints and 5 kilometer walk, i think im happy with what im running intervals BUT missing is the remote side. Many people in the team can run 5 miles in 18-20 minutes and then I do in 21 - 22mins. and I think they havnt training takes place over the last month as I have. In fact, most do 3.8km in 14-15 minutes and I get 16 - 17mins. Beep Test as well, ill get around the 12.4 level and most of them hit Level 13 or higher. I'm pretty fast but I really want to get super fit this season because the key to having a good season. I want to be in accordance with a pre-season start time. Is there any reason why I struggled with the distance again if? And there is any tips on What training can I do to get fit REALLY?
If you have a problem with stamina, when you go for a walk, walk as long as possible without stopping. If you can, go to the plateau area to run or something. Doing some breathing excersizes before you run your 5k. Breathe in through your nose and exhales all the CO2 out of the lungs. For speed get some ankle weight. The longer you keep them on, the sooner you feel when you take them. Even if you do not excersizing you can leave them.
