Soccer Leagues
What kind of structure do European soccer leagues use?
What I mean is like how we perform regular season and then playoffs. Is football European football / soccer league uses the same type and format ideas? If not, then what are they used?
All American sports using the same format which is the playoffs on top of what you accomplished in the regular season. In Europe, it's different as the club can be lowered to level 2 and promoted which makes it more interesting. In the "season regular ", which will be 30 or more games, the club teams compete to win a variety of countries such as ManU win the title of the season two months ago. On top of that, they have cups of state which is a play-off format type that all levels in certain countries can play against each other until the winner was decided. Britain has 4 levels or categories. There is also the Champions League which is the highest award for club teams. Basically, two-game play-off against any team you competed until you reach the final of which only one game like ManU-Barca when Barca win.
