Soccer Shorts
I need help dying some soccer shorts?
I bought Soccer Uniforms and they come out horrible, but there's no time to change their because the season starts next week. Mine is the worst, because they should have a dark blue shorts and they have a big white line in the middle of the front and rear (so that I look like a skunk.) Does anyone know if there is a way to dye it so they end up looking dark blue and not look all messed up?
Polyester require the use of disperse dyes which require a lot of heat and chemicals that weaken the material. Other types of dyes such as "Rit" leave the color of polyester almost entirely changed. You would be better just try to use fabric paint to darken your skunk stripe. I have done this a few times when my children want a different color line on the pants short. Works well and you can re-touch color and much needed new fabric paint can be regulated by heat from the iron and stay for the life of shorts. We use is to put their names on stuff.My person is a student and his friends have brought me their goods to do it I assure you do not seem paralyzed:. ^) Just find the color that says you will Matte or shiny stripe.
