Who are the players the most exciting football / soccer players in your opinion and WHY?
To me it's the Brazilian Ronaldo (not Cristiano). Ronaldo in front of his time. He is one of if not THE first player to combine the size (thickness and muscle) with skill and speed. Soccer players who have earned more muscular all recently but Ronaldo might be the first. Theres a clip of him with like 2 other defenders around him and came running from the side, trying to knock him ofcourse, and bounced off him. The man was a tank, had a nose for goal, and above average skills. I still feel that the new players do not compare with him but I see the resemblance of new people such as Drogba, Eto'o, Messi, Ronaldinho includes many features of. Messi because when he has the ball anything can happen. He can take a 2,3,4,5,6, or even 7 defenders and score. The way he led the ball at that speed and all of a sudden injury and still have a ball next to it is amazing. Messi is like a lost spark, anything can happen at any given time. There is no way to stop Messi, placing him on the right wing or in the middle he will terrorize you and leave you into pieces. Messi is very tough as well he will not touch the ground from a simple push, he will stand and make a play ... Cristiano is the most complete player in the world but Messi only better than him. Ronaldo is the greatest player of all time for my next Maradona ... Ronaldo has a remarkable ability, he's such a perfect player. Speed, strength, precision, strength, vision, etc. Shame he is injured.
