I need help with football (soccer) ... Please?

Sometimes me and my friends (boys & girls) gathered around to match soccer (football). Okay so I suck it but they did not even give me a chance to try because no one passed the ball to me. I have learned that boys are individuals or just pass the ball to someone else (And maybe a girl or two - who actually knows how to play) helped. I like football, training may be, but I was not given a chance even though I went for the ball. So I usually stay to defend. So maybe I was wondering you have any simple tips, tricks or any other way for me to improve my ability when playing football? (Of course apart from the training that I will begin this evening but once again I will not be given the opportunity to pass a single ball ... and keep in mind I'm a girl) Oh and sorry if I write too much ...
