Soccer Trophies For Kids
End of Season Awards Soccer question!?
I am a U8 soccer team coach. We are having our end of season awards party this week in which every child will receive their trophies from the league and a small certificate from me. While I have all positive things to say about all of my kiddos, there is one who rarely came to practice, has about half of the game. He was always in trouble when hes there. I do not want him to feel left out at the ceremony but need some ideas for a positive appreciation for him. Any ideas? Thanks guys ... is negative, the children are all under 10.
Actually I always try to keep all the awards I was a bit "generic." With so children never feel less important than others or abandoned in any way. Two other things that I do though is to attract every child's parents sometimes next to the word with them or write them a note or letter with individuals to give their comments at the end of the party. If you are looking for good things to say and then find some basic things that are not good, whether it has a strong kick accurate or much speed or whatever, and relate it to football. If you associate with the skills not the personality you should be able to find something in there I hope. If he is the absolute devil then you may be hard pressed, but there must be (hopefully) some redeeming qualities he has. Good luck to you.
